Dr. Stephen M. Froman, a native of New York City, New York, attended the University of Michigan and City College of New York for his undergraduate degree in Biology. He received his medical degree at Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed a rotating internship at Crozier-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. Dr. Froman completed a two year residency in general surgery at Hahnneman and his otolaryngology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – Eye and Ear Hospital, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Froman is on the medical staff at Heritage Valley Health System – Sewickley, Heritage Valley Health System Beaver and Heritage Valley Health System – Kennedy. He has been active in both the Pennsylvania and Beaver County Medical Societies, serving as President of the Beaver County Medical Society from 2002 – 2004. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and Community Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He was a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and he previously served as a Governor on the Board of Governors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Froman is honored to be listed as one of Pittsburgh’s best doctors consecutively since 2012.
